Hazael Jean Kabore
Hazael loves eating macaroni and the color blue. Seven people are living in their home. He wants to be a soldier when he is older. In Burkina Faso, life for children can be difficult. The area has been impacted by AIDS, refugees from surrounding areas, and is a high-risk area for trafficking. Children have many responsibilities at home like carrying water, farming and gardening, and taking care of livestock. For fun, they enjoy playing football (soccer) without shoes, outdoor games like hide-and-seek, and swimming in the river.
